It was then time for our Vice-Chairman to introduce the speaker, Jean Owen ... ... who kept us thoroughly entertained with her account of the shop - Cotterells -which her parents set up in Bilston and which she ran for very many years.  It was the best known and most popular toy shop for miles around.  The talk brought back many happy memories for many members. It was then time for our Vice-Chairman to introduce the speaker, Jean Owen ... And then, of course, tea.  David Fitzgerald-Plummer ministers to the tea table ... David
Megan ... and his better half (am I allowed to say that these days?) starts pouring ... Megan with Barbara Presland, while George Phillpot ... and then dashes over to run the raffle with Barbara Presland, while George Phillpot draws the next lucky ticket. 
Reg Aston and John and Brenda Elwell pay close attention to the proceedings ... Reg Aston and John and Brenda Elwell ... while three more members seem not to think much of their chances.

 someone has to clear up And then, when its all over, someone has to clear up.  This member, whose names regrettably escapes me, does a sterling job, as he often does, with the washing up.  David Careful with those cups, David.  We will need then next time.
