spurs were removed and replaced by these steel spurs. The bottom pair have been designed to bend sharply upwards, making them difficult to withdraw and very destructive; such spurs were illegal. | The cocks were trained. But you had to prevent
them damaging each other while training. So these leather "muffs" were used to cover the spurs. |
