The catering staff at the former Bilston Steel Works Social Club had set out a marvellous buffet for us and this soon disappeared under a crowd of people.

Harold was hoping a few former workmates might be in attendance. He met the France family, who bought with them family photographs taken at the Steel Works many years before. Harold was able to identify various people on photographs.

Long time members Margaret & Arthur Weston enjoy a pint of the local brew while Alma looks on. Arthur was a Supervisor at Joseph Sankey's Bankfield Works whilst Margaret taught at local schools at St. Edward's, Bilston and Stowlawn Primary. But meanwhile everyone was moving into Springvale's large room for the rest of the afternoon's proceedings.
